It's snowing outside. Yes, a big, fluffy snowstorm is headed our way in this first week of March. But never fear, spring IS coming. It has to. It's never failed us. There are still mittens and hats on the shelf just in case. But we're optimistic. Here are some ways Just Goods is celebrating spring coming right around the corner (how far away is the corner again?)... 1. Sundresses and sweet babies.

Saturday, March 27th, from 10:00 am until 10:30am, a free to kids gardening class will be hosted by Diana Mendelsohn, Junior Master Gardener leader, at the St. Joseph County 4-H Fairgrounds Commercial building, South Bend. The fairgrounds is located at the corner of Jackson and Ironwood Roads. Parking and entrance to the event is free of charge.
A special display promoting the 4-H youth gardening projects for the upcoming 4-H Fair, to be held July 2nd - 10th this summer will be offered. All vegetable, herb, and flower plants were grown with organic soil from the City of South Bend's Organic Resources Facility, located west of South Bend. These plants were grown by a kindergardener from Marquette Montessori School in South Bend. All the plants on display were grown at the Potawatomi Greenhouse.
There will be an opportunity to sign up for the 4-H youth program during the Ag Day event.
The Ag Days event runs from Friday, March 26th; 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday, March 27th, 19:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Sunday, March 28th; 11:00am - 4:00 pm.
Children will be able to pet live animals, pick carrots frm the special garden bed, and many more activities, all free of charge.
